The CLC Business and Industry Center provides education, training and consulting to customers so individuals can achieve their business goals and objectives.

Customized Training & Continuing Education
Provides leadership, resources, and training specifically tailored to meet the educational or training needs of organizations served. Our training will help update, retrain, cross-train, and prepare your employees for advancement. Our campuses, your place of business, off-site, on-the-job training—we will train at a location based on your needs.

Small Business Development Center
The mission of the Central Lakes College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is to improve economic growth in Minnesota by providing assistance to small businesses in order to increase the number of new business start-ups, expand existing small businesses, and reduce the number of small business failures. The services are confidential and are low cost or no cost.

Computerizing Small Business
CSB is designed to assist the small business owner through the process of computerization. This program uses a combination of classroom and individualized on-site instruction tailored to the specific business needs.

Farm Business Management
This program is designed to provide education to farmers, farm operators or persons interested in farming. The purpose of the program is to assist students in meeting their business and personal goals. Instructors meet with the student on the farm on a regular basis to evaluate the business and to help develop a farm management plan for each individual's unique needs.

Small Business Management
Provides year-round on-site training to business owners. Apply management, planning, marketing and financial reporting skills to your business during individual coaching sessions at your place of business. This flexible, yet reasonably priced program, is designed for busy business owners who wish to improve their business. Topics of instruction are mutually decided between the owner and the instructor.
