NEW PROXY SERVICE

Central Lakes College students and faculty member can now take advantage of the newly implemented proxy service. This proxy service will allow patrons who are currently off-site to use the library's web resources. By clicking on the link on the far right side of the page you will be taken to an authentication login screen. Simply type in your barcode (found on the back of your Central Lakes College Identification Card) then use your lastname as the password.

Q: I am not on campus, and I do not see a link on the far right side of the page. Can I still use the library's web resources?
A: Absolutely, if you do not see a link on the far right side of the page that simply means that the page you are trying to get to does not require a login. Simply click on the link on the far left side of the page.

Q: After typing in my barcode and password I was still unable to get into the site. Is the site down?
A: Not necesarily. After you receive your student identification card you must have it activated. Go to the library and check out a book. Once your library card is active you should be able to to log in.
